Welcome to StyledByMVig, where the dreams of my inner child have become a reality! From the time I was six years old, I can remember being obsessed with picking my outfits and adding layers and accessories to spice up my "looks"! As I grew to a high school age, and trivial insecurities came into play, I retreated into my shell and found myself hiding in a world of American Eagle skinny jeans and crop tops. The more I have reflected on this time in my life, the more I have wanted to branch away from it, as it was simply not me... consequently, this blog rose from the ashes! I have decided that there is no more room in my life to half-ass my dreams. The time for unabashed self-expression is now, and I plan on continuing down that path, developing my personal style, and taking you all along with me!

To start, I would just like to say a big thank you to anyone who has ever been kind or encouraging to me about my 'fashion journey', whether you read this or not! Sometimes, I feel a little crazy, but It's refreshing and reaffirming to hear encouragement, and helps me to understand that I am truly my biggest critic. I would just like to stress that my starting this blog and posting fashion reels and TikToks is not a cry for help to the Influencer Gods. That is just not necessarily where I am hoping to take this. Whatever 'this' is. Instead, I would like to pursue my lifelong dream of styling others as well as myself, and creating art through fashion... and hopefully, future fashion lines and eventually, a brand, if the universe will allow it.

To conclude my first 'official' blog post, I would like to reiterate my gratitude for all of the amazing people in my life, that are a constant source of light and encouragement! I would also like to thank little, six-year-old me, as she is truly why I continue to do any of this stuff. I just want to make her proud (and the people who love me, of course)!! Stay tuned for future musings on topics such as current trends, pop culture, and my general fashion-related ramblings, I can't wait to begin this journey <3
