ABOUT THE BRAND

Hello Blog... My name is Mya Vigna and I'm an 22 year old Pediatric Nurse and lover of all things fashion and creativity! Ever since I was a little girl, I've had a passion for sewing, styling outfits, and expressing myself through my overcrowded closet. At the ripe age of 22, not much has changed, with this passion of mine growing stronger every day, manifesting itself in the form of endless creative projects, and now... this blog! 

 

            I’d like to consider fashion blogging to be part of my creative process, healing my inner child, and allowing me to express the inner workings of Small Closet, Big Dreams. To be quite candid, I have no clue what I’m doing here, but I think that's the beauty of it all. Just like fashion, I have come to realize that the nature of blogging is quite subjective! It allows one to share their feelings, values, and inner musings through self-expression. And realistically, just like fashion, in the same sense that you do not have to subscribe to every microtrend you see on the streets, you don’t have to subscribe to my blog if you so choose.

           

            In terms of what I hope to gain from this experience, your guess is as good as mine. However, don’t let that statement deter you from further subscribing to my fashion-related musings. I just simply want to be clear on the fact that I’m probably not going to be the best blogger at first. This is amateur hour and well… I’m an amateur.

 

            Enough with the self-deprecation! To conclude this lengthy ‘About Me’ post, I would just like to say how excited I am for this experience to begin! I love writing, especially creative writing. And talking about myself? Ugh, who doesn’t love that?! Ha-ha, I’m just kidding… In all seriousness, I cannot wait to share my newest adventures, creative processes, and outfit inspiration with the masses! Hopefully, this blog will serve as a source of inspiration for the future fashion endeavours of others.
